Thank you for your heart to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people from all walks of life, all across our nation.
We praise God for how He has used our Gospel TV spots to reach people who wouldn’t otherwise hear the Good News— people like Jack,* Ben,* and Ada.* Jack surrendered his life to the Lord after seeing our ad on YouTube, and Ben had a similar story to share—he called in and received Christ because he heard the Gospel while watching ESPN on his phone.
Ada, an 81-year-old widow, saw one while watching TV at home and called the 24-hour prayer line. She told our team member that she wanted to receive Jesus Christ.
After they prayed together, Ada asked for help finding a Bible-believing church near her where she can grow closer to the Lord. We praise the Lord that Ada is now “a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJV).
Will you pray for her—and for the many others who are hearing the Gospel through this ministry? Ask God to draw many to Himself and bring them to maturity in Jesus Christ.
Thank you again for your commitment to evangelism. This work would not be possible without friends like you.
May God richly bless you,
Desperate for eternal hope
Martin* saw Franklin’s Gospel TV spot and called to talk to one of our team members. He told them that he felt like the message of salvation in Jesus Christ was just for him—and he had prayed to receive Him in repentance and faith. He went on to share that he has stage 4 cancer and desperately wanted to settle where he would spend eternity. Our representative listened compassionately and shared Scripture with him, eventually reading verses about our eternal hope from the Psalms, Isaiah, John, and Matthew. Before their conversation ended, our team member prayed for Martin and asked the Lord to bless him with peace and strength. Martin told him that he was filled with happiness, knowing that he is indeed saved and will soon see the Lord in Heaven!
Prayer for others, salvation for herself
Josie* decided to call the prayer line after seeing our Gospel spot on television. She wanted to pray with someone and lift up the needs of people living in war zones. Our team member discussed salvation with her, and she admitted she did not remember having ever prayed to receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. The two prayed together, and she repented of her sin as she placed her faith in Christ. They also prayed for the Lord’s provision and peace—for Josie and for all those living in regions torn apart by conflict around the world. What started as a burden on Josie’s heart for others in crisis ended in a simple prayer for her own salvation, and we give God all the glory for how He draws people to Himself!
He wanted a way out
Colin* called our prayer line and asked for prayer that he would be delivered from drug and alcohol addiction. He said that he had nearly ruined his life, and he had no idea how to get out of the mess he was in. Our team member shared his own testimony, then told Colin that Jesus loves him—and can deliver him from anything. As they talked, our representative shared that although the temptations may not disappear overnight, the Lord will give him the strength to fight addiction. Colin was filled with hope as he listened and made the decision to put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Will you pray for Colin, that he will grow in his new walk with the Lord—and that God will use him to draw many others to Himself?
God interrupted the news
Max* saw a few of our Gospel TV spots while watching the news and decided to call in. He said God had been pressing him to call the phone number that appeared on-screen. Max asked for prayer for some physical and emotional problems he was struggling with, and our team member, Jim,* sensed there was something more. Jim asked him if he had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and Max said no. As he listened with compassion, Jim shared the Gospel using Scripture, and Max realized how much he wanted to know Christ personally. He said a heartfelt prayer of repentance and faith to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, and the two rejoiced together over his life-changing decision.
