Franklin Graham

Dear Friend,

You are helping thousands of men, women, and children hear the Gospel—many of them in their own homes—through your prayers and support.

God continues to call people from all walks of life to Himself through Gospel TV spots and our 24/7 prayer line—people like Camilla* and Anthony.* The married couple saw one of our ads on TV and listened closely as I talked about the “freedom that we have in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 2:4, ESV). Both husband and wife responded by surrendering their lives to Him and praying in repentance and faith.

A team member was ready to talk to them about their life-changing decisions when they called our prayer line. Camilla and Anthony joyfully talked about their new faith, and the three of them read Scripture together. Before their call ended, our team member prayed that the Lord would strengthen and sustain their new relationship with Him.

Will you pray for countless others who are hearing the Good News through these spots on television? “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:56–57, ESV). Let’s pray together that many of them will respond by receiving Him as Lord and Savior. Read more accounts below of how God is working.

May God richly bless you,

Franklin Graham

Celebrating New Life

Woman talking on the phone.

Peggy* called in to celebrate—she had just seen one of Franklin’s Gospel TV spots and immediately prayed along to receive Jesus Christ in repentance and faith. Our team member talked to her for a while and asked her if she understood the decision she had made. She immediately said yes! As the two discussed how Peggy could grow closer to the Lord, she told our team member about a local congregation she was looking forward to being a part of. What a blessing to know what the Lord is doing in Peggy’s life!

“The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength.”

Charlie* called our 24/7 prayer line after watching one of Franklin’s Gospel TV spots. He had listened closely to the message, but he wanted to be sure he understood the Good News. Our team member talked to Charlie about the Lord, and then his voice cracked with emotion as he prayed to receive Christ in repentance and faith. After he prayed, our team member listened as Charlie talked about the problems he was facing. He had just lost his wife two years earlier and was experiencing some health problems—but now, he was filled with joy because of his new faith in the Lord. Charlie talked about a local, Bible-believing church he knew he could start attending, and our team member said Charlie had a Bible he would start reading. We praise God for this new brother in Christ!

Finally Freed From Guilt

Ross* called our 24/7 prayer line after watching one of Franklin’s messages on TV. The 68-year-old had a heavy heart and felt overwhelmed by his own sin—even after he prayed to receive Jesus during the TV spot. He told our team member he didn’t know how God could ever forgive him. When our team member assured Ross that Jesus “has freed us from our sins by his blood” (Revelation 1:5, ESV) and prayed for him, Ross said that now he felt like the guilt was “flying off of me!” Our team member made sure Ross had a Bible he could read regularly. Because he’s in a wheelchair and unable to leave home very often, we also gave him online discipleship resources to help him grow closer to the Lord.

Healing and Hope for Eternity

Michael* recently saw one of our ads on TV and called to talk to one of our team members. At first, he simply expressed a curiosity about the Gospel—but then he began to talk about his deep need for a Savior. Michael shared that he had abused drugs for years and had suffered a stroke earlier in the year. Now he was deeply concerned about where he’d spend eternity. He listened closely as our team member shared more about the message of salvation in Jesus Christ that he’d already heard on TV. A few minutes into their conversation, Michael prayed to surrender his life to the Lord. Afterward, our team member helped him find a Bible-believing church to attend in his community and talked to him about how he could grow closer to Christ through reading Scripture and prayer.

Never Too Late

Larry* watched Franklin share the Gospel on TV and called our prayer line right away. The 84-year-old told our team member, “I want to give my heart to Jesus.” He said that he has attended church many times, but he never made the decision to embrace Christ as Lord and Savior. The two talked about the Gospel, then Larry said a heartfelt prayer of repentance and faith. Our team member encouraged Larry to share this exciting decision with his pastor so that he can help him strengthen his faith.
