In appreciation and support of your military service to our country, we are pleased to invite you to our Military Chaplain Retreat at The Cove in Asheville, NC on November 27 – November 30, 2017. The retreat begins with dinner on Monday and ends following lunch on Thursday. The event is open to active-duty Military Chaplains as well as National Guard and Reservist Chaplains.
If you have attended in the past and experienced God’s blessing, we hope you can join us again. But whether you have attended or not, we would ask that you share this opportunity with other Chaplains and spouses who may just need a special time away to experience God’s refreshment and encouragement!
Dress for this event is casual. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes for walking.
To register, please call 1-800-950-2092. The registration fee for the retreat, to include food, lodging and retreat materials, is $100.00 per person and is non-refundable unless reservations are cancelled up to 30 days prior to the event.
Transportation costs will be reimbursed as follows: up to $300 per person for airfare (round-trip airfare for Chaplain and spouse) or round-trip mileage up to $300 from your home to The Cove for one vehicle. BGEA will assist with airport pickups at the Asheville, NC airport but are not able to reimburse for rental cars.
For reimbursement of airfare, Chaplains will need to email a copy–or copies, if traveling with a spouse–of the airfare receipt showing the name(s) on receipt, and indicating the airfare cost(s) to firstname.lastname@example.org by November 1, 2017. In either case, please make sure you receive an email confirmation.
Travel reimbursement for Chaplains driving will be at a rate of $.535 cents/mile, up to $300 per car. Round-trip mileage will be calculated on Google Maps from point of origin to The Cove in Asheville, NC.
A W9 Form will be sent to each Chaplain along with the Reservation Confirmation letter from The Cove. Please complete the form and return as soon as possible to:
